Brontosaurus, the "thunder reptile", is known from Jurassic
(135-150 million year old) sedimentary rocks in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah
and Oklahoma. It was a plant-eating dinosaur with a length of 70 ft. (21
m), a shoulder height of 15 ft. (4.5 m, and a weight of 30 tons. This
kit allows you to excavate, restore and display a 12" (29 cm) reproduction
of its skeleton, embedded in a 12" x 9" slate-like slab of rock.
